While that might be cause for celebration in some families, Reginald's abusive relationship with his children puts a damper on their reunion. In the final moments of season two, the team discover that their father is now alive and well in 2019. After defeating The Handler in 1963, the Umbrella Academy travel back to the present and return home. Sure, they technically caused them, but still, Reginald must be proud of them, right? Now grown up, the dysfunctional Hargreeves family have managed to avert not one, but two apocalypses. Immediately recognising their potential, Sir Reginald Hargreeves adopted seven of the children and trained them in the use of their powers.įast forward to the end of season two, and something even more extraordinary has happened.
